How Central New Jersey won the Revolutionary War

In this latest Somerset County Historical Society publication I attempt to rekindle an interest in the revolutionary war and redefine the role Central New Jersey played in establishing the country’s independence.  I also shifts the focus of more traditional historical accounts of the war to why things happened rather than who did them and when. It places Central New Jersey at the center of this conflict, and not merely a place that many important people passed through on their way to do something interesting somewhere else.

The book is available directly from the Somerset County Historical Society. Contact the Society and send a check for $15 plus $6 postage if you would like to order a copy via mail. Please remember to include a return mailing address.
